We Got a Band I’m not gonna just sit around wondering what to do--- Gonna call my friends, get together and play a few new tunes. One plays drums, One plays bass, And I play my guitar We’ll have fun rockin’ up the place and pretend we’re superstars. We got a band, yeah, yeah We got a band, yeah, yeah singing Na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey! I’ve got notebooks full of songs -- I can write about anything. I love the feeling of letting loose and getting up to sing. In the car, In the yard, In the shower, too; Let me go get my guitar, and we can sing along, me and you. We got a band, yeah, yeah (everybody’s shakin’, everybody’s groovin’) We got a band, yeah, yeah (everybody’s dancin’, everybody’s movin’) All our friends and all our neighbors Mom and dad think we’re the greatest Practice, practice every tune And maybe we can play out soon. We got a band, yeah, yeah (everybody’s shakin’, everybody’s groovin’) We got a band, yeah, yeah (everybody’s dancin’, everybody’s movin’) singing Na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey! IMAGINATION NATION Imagination Nation’s where I’ll be So open up your mind and come with me So much to do, so much to see In Imagination Nation Tell me what you see (A baby dinosaur in pink pajamas) When we make-believe (Don’t make a lotta noise – here comes his mama) I can see it, too (We can hide behind that big volcano) When I play with you. Chorus Even late at night (That’s the perfect time to look for fairies) I just close my eyes (They fly around just making merry) Listen to them sing (a little song about the stars a-twinkling) Dream up anything We’ll change the color of the sky Put on our hero suits and fly Build a rocket to the moon We’ll be up there pretty Soon we’ll have to be back home again. Pirates 03:24
Pirates I am the master of my fate, The captain of my ship I choose to sail the seven seas and make the most if it. Adventure waits for all who come so climb aboard m’ mate We’ll head due west when the winds are best Oh, I can h-argh-dly wait. Heigh ho (Heigh ho) Hoist the anchor friends Heigh ho (heigh ho) Come sail the seas again. We plot our course, feeling bold and head for Starry Isle Where sand is colored pink and gold and unicorns run wild. The trees are full of talking birds, the flowers bloom all year I know there’s buried treasure there I have the map right here. And just like Grace O’Malley, Bonny Anne or Mary Reade I‘ll be the bravest pirate that the world has ever seen. And Old Pegleg, or Black Bart or even Rackham Jack Have nothing on you or this very fine crew so raise the good blackjack. Heigh ho (Heigh ho) Hoist the anchor friends Heigh ho (heigh ho) Come sail the seas again. Heigh Ho (Heigh Ho) Out in the ocean blue Heigh Ho (Heigh Ho) Pirates me and you. I’m a superhero, trying to do good Makin things a little better, like everybody should You think I’m so amazing, it’s hard to believe All my superpowers are in my heart, you see. I’m a Superhero, searching for the truth Looking for the answers and putting them to use. I’m a Superhero, learning how to read I get my superpowers from my library. You think I’m so amazing, it’s hard to believe All my superpowers are in my heart you see. Batman, Superman, fireman Jump into buildings saving who they can, You can always count on them. X-men, Spiderman, teachers, too Mothers, fathers, me and you, We know just what we gotta do. I’m a superhero – at least I try to be I’m a Superhero, you can count on me. BOWLING WITH YOU Going to the bowling alley Rent my shoes and get my lane Lane six—my lucky number I’m gonna try to win this game. Then I roll…roll...roll… roll Bowling with you All my friends are eating pizza Mom is laughing really loud Bowling shoes look kinda silly But I don’t stand out in this crowd Then I roll… roll… roll… roll Get a strike -- it sounds like thunder! I might even break a hundred! This might be my favorite thing to do: Bowling with you. Got my ball, a swirly red one Eleven pounds; it feels just right Take four steps and let it fly You know, Dad, I could bowl all night And we roll, roll, roll… roll Bowling with you Gutter ball… Guess it happens to us all… Happens to us all. Happens to us all But we roll... Music & Lyrics: Lisa Mathews, Miles Anderson & Mikel Gehl C 2006 Milkshake Music

HOME ON THE RANGE I’m just a cowboy—a cowboy that’s me Riding out west where cowboys should be On a pretty palomino That my ma gave to me Life is sweet, scary and strange Home on the range… I’m just a cowboy with work to be done Herd up the cattle, ride into the sun Sing some old songs That I’ve known for so long Yippee yi, yippee yi keyayayay Home on the Range And sometimes I listen to the wolves and coyote Howling long and low And I wonder if there’s trouble down in the canyons And maybe I should head home I’m just a cowboy—a cowboy that’s me Getting kind late and I’m a little hungry Now someone’s calling Time to turn in Tomorrow I’ll be out here again Home on the Range Words: L. Mathews Music: L. Mathews, M. Gehl, M. Anderson

Go Wild 03:28
GO WILD I can sit quietly While you read a book to me… Lovin every moment, every word. Rest under a shady tree Caught up in a sweet daydream Listening to the singing of a bird. But once in a while a voice inside Tells me it’s time to fly. Once in a while I gotta go crazy, crazy wild Once in a while I gotta go wild. Standing with my friends in line Hope the bus’ll come on time Being just as patient as I can. And when it’s time to learn I can wait to take my turn Know the answer, raise my hand. But once in while I need to spin Jump up and down and scream.

PLANT A GARDEN Once there was a plot of dirt Nothing much to see No one played there, no birds sang In a lonely tree. People would just pass it by No one took the time To make it into something more Make it really fine. Then one day a little girl gathered up some friends They took shovels, water and seeds And set to work therein They cared for every little plant that grew up from the seeds now people stop and smile and look as every birdie sings Plant a garden watch it grow Flowers and vegetables in a row Dig a hole and plant a seed Show the world you care. Music & Lyrics: Lisa Mathews, Miles Anderson C 2006 Milkshake Music

Parade 03:34
PARADE Here we come, Here we come, Here we come in the Parade… It’s so great to march in the Parade. Here we come, Here we come, Here we come to the Parade On a sunny day, watchin’ the Parade. Twirl the baton, bang on the drums, wearing your brightest costume. Look at the clowns, look at the floats, look at the great big balloons! I can’t remember when I’ve had such fun… Singing and marching one by one! Wave your flags, toot your horns, everybody celebrate Bring your dog, bring your friend—try your best not to be late! I can’t remember when I’ve had such fun… Singing and marching to the drums And the drums go: baba be da ba be da baba And the bells go: ring, dling The trombones go: bupppp And the trumpets go: dodoodo dodo dooo Here we come, Here we come, Here we come in the Parade… It’s so great to march in the Parade. Here we come, Here we come, Here we come to the Parade On a sunny day, watchin’ the Parade.

Baseball 03:15
BASEBALL It’s a hit It’s a hit It’s a hit I love to play baseball in my backyard With my cap and glove on I can really catch that ball Dad is pitching Mom is catching My friends are in the outfield… I love to play Baseball In my backyard. Running the bases Slide and score another run Over the fences I just got a big homerun Chorus I love to play this game I really have to say I hope it doesn’t rain Turning on the radio Listening to the play-by-play My team can win—I hope so It would be the end of a perfect day...

Magic Ride 04:12
MAGIC RIDE One hundred steps Up to the top High on a hill The city so big Come with me on a magic ride Big balloons fill the air We can go down a giant slide We can go anywhere Rowing my boat River goes round Under the falls Mist falling down Mountains reach up to the sky Warm winds are carrying me Wave to my friends down below Feel so free Back on the ground Thrilled to my toes Happy and tired Please hold me close Come with me on a magic ride Big balloons fill the air We can go down a giant slide We can go anywhere

PLAY Play ball, play school, play house, it’s cool All I wanna do is play! Let’s race, let’s run, ride bikes in the sun Mama, I just wanna play. Gotta clean my room. Gotta feed the dog. I much rather play on hollow log. Yeah, I know I got things to do. I know I’m responsible, yeah. You say I’m responsible, yeah Pick up my clothes and find my shoes. I need to… Gotta learn to write. Gotta learn to read Add and subtract, and geography I know I’ve got a lot to learn. I know I gotta go to school, yeah, pay attention every day in school, yeah school, yeah But after school, it’s my turn I need to… Play ball, play school, play house, it’s cool All I wanna do is play! Let’s race, let’s run, ride bikes in the sun Mama, I just wanna play. I wanna, I wanna, I wanna Play… Play ball, play school, play house, it’s cool All I wanna do is play! Magic Potion 01:47
MAGIC POTION It’s a great big world, keeps going in motion Peace and love are our Magic Potion You be you, I’ll be me We can talk about it when we disagree Just sit down, work it out When we get done we can twist and shout Peace and love are our Magic Potion

OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT It’s okay to be different It’s okay to be me When I look in the mirror I like what I see. The world would be a boring place If everyone had the same old face…sad and gray. Everyone, everywhere, every color skin and hair Come out and play! It’s okay to be different It’s okay to be me When I look in the mirror I like what I see. I think you’ll find that over time It helps to keep an open mind…an open heart. Cause if you try to understand, to be a friend, lend a hand—well, that’s a start.

MY BEST FRIEND I’ve got a friend who wears a giddy grin when she listens to Tchaikovsky. When I get a chance, I like to sing and dance to anything that rocks me. She wears pink skirts and long-sleeved shirts, her shoes are patent leather. I like to wear most anything if it looks OK together. We’re so different She’s my best friend She loves lima beans and anything that’s green, helps her mom with dinner. I can’t lie, I think French fries with ketchup are delicious. She’s quiet as a mouse, even in the house; I couldn’t talk much louder. It might seem strange, but still I wouldn’t change a single thing about her. We’re so different She’s my best friend
